Fr. Ben Dallas
Fr. Ben Dallas was born in Augusta, Georgia, but he and his 3 younger siblings grew up in Arlington, a small town "in the bottom left corner" of the state. After high school, he attended Franciscan University of Steubenville, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1998. While in college, he applied to the Diocese of Savannah as a seminarian, and was accepted by (then) Bishop Kevin Boland, who chose to send him for his seminary formation and priestly studies to the North American College in Rome, Italy. While there, he earned a graduate degree in Theology and was ordained a "transitional deacon." Upon completing seminary, he returned to the Diocese and was ordained to the priesthood in 2002.
